When I was in my late teens my ex's mom asked me to speak to him because he had been in a car accident so I went to the hospital and tried to talk to him to see if I could help him, I'm sad to say things didn't work out but that was a long time ago.

She should not be nosing out of your problems however take it as a plus point for you coz it means she accepts the relationship or in aa different point of view, chooses to see her daughter/son's happiness than magnify her/his being lesbian/gay. Be nice to her then.

It would depend on how close you were to the X's mother. If you and she were close I'd do it. If not...........................
