please dont use alcohol. it will deplete ur skin of moisture. remember oil and moisture are very different things. cleanse, tone (with an astringent) and moisturise twice a day. even if u have oily skin ur skin does need moisture. just use an oil free hydro based product. or use aloe gel. use an anti-acne soap. it will unclog all the oil from ur pores.
u may also try a home made mask of fullers earth, mashed tomato and a squeeze of lemon. the fullers earth will suck out the oil from ur skin, tomato has natural astringent like properties and lemon shall give ur face a glow without the shine.
through the day keep spraying natural water or rose water on ur face. it shall keep the oil away and keep ur face hydrated.
stay away from oily, spicy foods. try drinking a lot of water. min 2 litres and eating a lot of fruits and veggies. this will bring long term results too.

Most lotions, creams, scrubs have oil in them, which you have already tried. A friend told me about this, I tried it and it works. Use Irish Spring (regular not aloe) soap. Depending upon the amount of greasy food you eat you will find that you will have to wash your forehead more than usual because the irish spring will pull the oil out of your skin. (the first time you do this, it is normal to have to wash your face (forehead) 3-4 times a day. Once you notice that you forehead is feeling cleaner during the day, and you do not have to wash your face as often, start using a moisturizer to keep your forehead from drying.
Best Wishes!!!

I have a greasy skin, too. The best thing is a holiday to a sea or ocean at least once a year and wash your body with salty body wash.If you can't find any wash yr face every morning with salt and soap and you body once a week with salt.
It helps a lot. Removes the grease and keeps the skin soft tight and dry

First, grow out your bangs and/or sweep them off your forehead so that you're not adding hair oil to your skin's oil!
Next, wash your face every morning with an oil-busting cleanser. Try St. Ive's Apricot Scrub for Blemished Skin, which exfoliates (unclogging pores) and battles shine with salicylic acid. Use a matte foundation on shiny areas, and follow with a dusting of loose powder. During the day, blot up any excess oil with blotting papers (like the ones made by Clean and Clear), instead of layering on more pore-clogging powder.

Make sure you're hydrating your skin.
Often, if skin isn't getting enough moisture, it will produce its own oil to compensate, thus giving you greasy skin. Make sure you cleanse properly and try a light moisturiser or hydrating cream. Also drink lots of water and your skin will be hydrated and feel no more need to make its own oil.
I know it sounds backward to put more moisture on greasy skin, but this will work.

changes come from within, fix ur diet hunny and all will b well ! although it is ur age the rite foods can kept ur skin well, dont over do it with clensers and stuff like that ul end up with dermatitis or exsema ! i got greasy skin 2, bt the more u wash ur face the more your skin will fight to produce more and more oils because it thinks it needs it after u have removed every bit of moisture. and remember people with oily skin wrinkle slower so we look younger 4 longer ! :-)

Make sure you're washing your make-up off every night, and also washing your face every morning. If you're still experiencing oily skin, try using witch hazel. It's a very inexpensive astringent that you can get at any drugstore. It's a little more sensitive than straight rubbing alcohol, which can cause overdryness.
Hope this helps! :)

i can sympathize with oily skin. i found a product called anti shine from smashbox. also milk of magnesia as a facial mask. u could ask ur dermatologist about accutane also. just some suggestions. hope that helps. u might want to check out the acne forums!
if that doesn't work then you shud visit a dermatologist.
