RICH is the point at which your investment returns are larger then your income .
When money works for you and you do not work for money .
THIS is the simplist way to describe what rich is .NOW how rich you are is a different story .
SOME people are rich with a half million invested and a payed of home of 1400 square feet .
Others might be rich if they have 100,000 in investments and a 700 a month social security check .
Still some may be rich with two retirement checks each month from two government jobs or private sector retirement programs .
The point about being rich is not the amount but the fact that you no longer must work to live .
This is rich .It is not retired or only for old people .
It is the point at which income is made from money and previous work .Rather then actually working .

I would say the top 1-2% of the income bracket at the most.....they have fooled the middle class into thinking they are upper class and the working class thinks its middle class.

I define rich as: untouchable, not by law or anyone else and the people that have enough money to provide them that are " the rich " in the USA

It depends on who you ask. The Democrats think that the average middle-class family is rich and would like to increase their taxes. When they talk about "taxing the rich," find out exactly what level of income they mean. You'll be shocked.

I feel I am rich when I am conscious of what the moment holds; of the energy coursing through me, of any sensations I'm experiencing, of the air that fills my lungs, of the love I have, of the love I am.

I don't think people are rich when they have thoughts of want. To me, those are the 'poor' people, of which I used to be a member.

May all beings be free of suffering and the root of suffering.

Rich to me is when you no longer have the necessity to work for money.

Rich can be ppl that have so much money that they don't need to work.

Rich can also be ppl that don't have a lot of money but don't require material things to be happy.

I consider the "rich" to be the ones who are wealthy for generations and have no risk of not being wealthy in future generations.
