This sounds like something that you really don't want to be part of..
1. Make sure no one sees your face or knows you.
2. Duck out anywhere you can even if you have to hide behind a car and make a run for a drange ditch
3. Don't tell anyone that you know anything about it.
If any of the above are not achivable then you would be wise to call an office of the police from some other district. Calling 911 might be ok because they will have record of it and when you end up dead for knowing too much maybe just maybe your killer will be found.

call an ambulance. I dont think that anyone deserves to get shot. Most people who act 'crooked', are really upset with themselves and are insecure about a lot of things. PUt them in a diff. environment and they will act diff.

Involvement with cops/gangsters of any sort is usually a hassle, and involvement with a crooked cop/gansgter is at best a major hassle, and at worst, a virtual death sentence.
