for instance, I don`t like to share that kind of stuff and still, I hate lieing; I was wondering why people even ask that kind of questions when it`s not like they are poor or don`t have anything else to wear...?It `s even OK if you borrow something while on holiday,but this I don`t understand.

Be honest and say "I don't loan my clothes to anyone for any reason. If you go ahead and tell the truth right off when you are in an awkward position, people will get to know your likes and dislikes and not ask you for favors all the time. You can be nice about it. They will soon realize you simply speak your mind about certain things that are important to you.

Just tell them you don't loan clothes to anyone.I loaned a friend one of my fav. shirts one time when I was about 15 and I kept going to her house to get it back and never saw it again.I don't loan anyone anything that I don't expect back anymore.
