I just heard (and it stands to reason since he was always filming for a TV show) that there is video of Steve Irwins death. I wonder what his final words were, if any. Do you know if we will get to see the video, and if you had the opportunity to see it, would you want to?

I'd like to see it. I've watched Steve Irwin scince I was a child and at multiple points I wished I could grow up to be like that man. It's not a morbid fantasy but more of a desire to see the last moments of a great man. Humans are so curious by nature, there may be a few who will distastefully comment about the video but I believe a lot of true fans would like to see the final moments of a good man. RIP Steve, I am positive you have inspired many zoologists in your time. You have made a great contribution to society, unfortunatly it had to end in such a bizzare way.

My heart goes out to Terri and the kids, it's a tragedy but one I am sure she expected / feared for a long time.

Eventually, it will be released. i do belive, even though it is death, Irwin created so much for the Public to become in love with his family and morals. Now everything has a beginning, and an end. Unfortunatly this has a tragic ending, that no one in the public will know about for a VERY LONG TIME. I think the least his family can do for the public , is to release it, so we can all GREIVE together. I know that not ONE person would laugh or criticize it.

u can't see the death of Steve irwins, it belongs to the poilice and they won't release it unless they want to. The only way for you to see it is probably a leak on the internet which I probably believe that will never happen

My family, especially my children 8 and 4 adored him..My 8 year old's favorite words is "CRIKEY". No we would not want to see the footage.. We want to remember how he was alive and happy not in "shock and pain" then to kill over! This was a freak thing that should not have happen. I know his wife and children would be horrified if that tape got out.

Myself, I would like to see it. I would like to see his final moments doing what he loved to pay a tribute to his legacy as a zooligist. To want to see the tape has nothing to do with "morbid fascination", don't be so shallow! I would just like to see Steve one last time doing what he loved...
