i do sadly he is no longer on the planet but at least the family, friends and loyal viewers of his shows that he leaves behind can find some comfort in knowing that he died doing the job he absolutely loved. RIP Steve Irwin

PS: all those making jokes about his death are very insensitive and rude.

I feel for his wife and children. It's a terrible thing that he has died. Isn't it ironic that he wasn't even aware that the stingray that killed him was there. They might even show the footage of the event, because it was what he would have wanted.
R.I.P Steve, you will be missed

It was a shocking, tragic and terribly sad event, for sure ... it broke my heart. But, I feel sorry for his father, wife, children and mates ... those left behind to deal with the grief.

He died doing what he enjoyed doing. He must have known the risks involved. The way he always was on tv something like this was going to happen.
