I am defintly sad about it!! I totally agree with you he was so awesome!! I hope they dont put it all on TV though know what i mean with the whole actuall tape of him diing. That would be horrible! I hope his family is doing ok. That must be so hard!
I wouldnt say it makes it any better that he died doing what he loved. I mean do you think he really would have chosen to die that way??

Yeah, I feel sad for his wife and kids; but come on, his death was inevitable!!! Wild animals are just that "wild". You can't predict what they're going to do. Remember Roy from the Las Vegas act a few years ago, and the white tiger??? Guess Steve's time was up. All I can say is he died enjoying what he loved doing. May he rest in peace.

I was close to tears when I heard about this.Steve's shows are a part of my life,I learnt so much from him about the animal world. My dream was to go and visit him and his aussie zoo one day. It's too late now.

All I can feel now was for his family. It's just isn't right. This should not be happening.

Do you think the Singapore zoo will allow us to pay tribute to him at the Australian outback area? After all,he open the area for them.I really hope so because I want to at least send him off decently.

I feel just as bad as you. But I can't begin to imagine how Terri, Bindi, And Robert are feeling. Its just so sad. My mother broke down crying. It's sad to sy but he died doing what he loved. I'm sure he will be remembered as a naturalist ledgend for years to come.

Yes it was very sad. I feel bad for his family.

It was kind of predictable, though. I certainly thought he would go out this way. He really didn't seem to take enough precautions.

Yea, I'm pretty sad about it as well. I think he would be pretty pleased with going the way he went though. He loved his job.

I agree with you, and with the other posters. He did a lot for education and conservation. I am sad for his family. My family loved his show.

It's got me down today, that's for sure.

I was thinking about it and I think it's because it's so refreshing to see someone who takes risks in their life and to see it end so bad kinda sucks.
