Earlier today we were cleaning up the employee break room here at work from yesterday's Labor Day party. The most difficult part was trying to figure out whom all the plates and cookware belonged to.
To make a long story short we got everything worked out except for the jugs that we used for the drinks. (You know the big ones that you press the button on the bottom for the fluid to come out.)
I finally discovered that they were Stacy's jugs. Being the nice guy that I am -- I offered to clean her jugs so that she wouldn't have to go home with them all wet and sticky.
Anyway... as I was rubbing the jugs with a damp cloth I noticed that they were really nice and almost new looking. I walked up to Stacey and said, "Your jugs are really nice! Are they new? They are the perfect size!"
Anyway my boss must have overheard the conversation and now I have to come in on my day off to review the harassment policy!
What the heck did I do wrong?!?

but I don't know where those jugs have been! Plus everybody had their hands all over them so that would've been a little gross!

Maybe next year Stacey should bring melons instead of jugs.

Sad thing is that the boss only overheard, dint see the jugs.
Had he seen those nice lovely jugs, he would have certainly joined you in the clean up process.

HEHEHEHEHEHEHE, okay, i'm not laughing any more. It's the way you said what you said and your boss was not in front of you so he/she did not know what you were talking about. Did you try to explain yourself? Did Stacy explain also? The both of you may need to let your boss know in a professional way that you were not being offensive in any way.
