I think they think that they are being funny when they are not and they are being cruel.

i haven't heard of anyone makin fun of him and i'm glad i haven't cause it would piss me off! i think it is very very sad what happened to him and his family is i'm sure taking it hard. and for people to make fun of that is sick!! he was a good guy who luved animals and nature unlike half of the idiots in our world today!!

Steve Irwin was a great person and an awesome role model. My little brother wanted to be him when he grows up. Any one who jokes on steve is cruel and heartless and deserves to die as painfully as he did!!!

Okay, I'm glad I haven't seen anyone making fun of the guy yet. Steve Irwin had a good sense of humor and was good at laughing at himself, but this is different. Whatever you want to say about the guy, he was a great and enthusiastic, animated educator who actually, really cared about what he did and the animals he wanted to protect. Plus, the guy has little kids left behind. People are going to do and say what will, but I would like to hope most people treat this with some respect. Everyone I know, no matter what they thought of the guy, feels really shocked and saddened by it.

i didn't know anyone was making fun of him.... it's a damn shame, he was a good man, loved mature, and he'll definately be missed. our family loved watching the croc hunter ("crikey! me ahm!") and it's so sad for his wife and two children. i wish them all the best, and i'm praying for them in this difficult time. i don't think that anyone should make fun of Steve Irwin.

They are fukkin idiots! Everyone liked him, even though he was a basketcase to be fooling with those wild animals. But that doesn't mean he deserved to die like some of these posts I've been reading on here. I've seen so many jokes today about snakes on a plane or stingrays on a boat, its so not funny considering what happened to him. Its really wrong timing to post jokes like those. To think that the thing went through his heart, my god, how funny could that be if it happened to your friend and you watched them pull it out and then collapse and die?

i think it sucks. he was my 16 year old sons hero. and if you think about it from his point of view he has been watching the crocodile hunter his whole life

i totally agree with you .. they are Extremely disrespectful towards Steve and his family .. they are small minded inconsiderate people .. and as Dr. Phil says [for the ones who are making fun of his death] "do you have a major brain dysfunction?" i am deeply saddened by Steve's death and i will miss him .. my prayers are with him and his family and friends

Some people will do anything for attention and giving it to them for being insensitive *ssholes just feeds them. So the best thing to do is ignore them...

I think they are ignorant and insensitive. It's not funny to make fun of someone's death.
