In Australia your divorce is not final until one month and one day after it is issued...
so you have to wait one month and two days....

As long as you have proof of divorce you can remarry because if you have been married previously you will have to show that to file to get another marriage license. Good Luck

Legally you can remarry the day your divorce is final...but didn't you learn ANYTHING? If you didn't you are destined to repeat the same mistakes again.

California ... you have to wait 6 months after you filled for divorce for you to be considered legally divorced ... you can marry anytime after that ... !

As soon as you get the paper signed by the judge. You need that paper to get your license to remarry, and to give to whoever marries you, the JP or priest,etc.

Why would you be in any hurry to get involved in another marriage when you just managed to extricate yourself from a bad one??? Take your time! Get to know yourself, and try to figure out what wrong before. Ponder what you can do to avoid the same mess in the future.
