To be honest, 15 and 18 does sound a bit off. However, I think 16 and 19 seems much more socially acceptable.

All in all, I don't think age is of vast importance, the two personalities in the relationship count for much, much more. With your situation, however, there is a slight illegal/immoral issue as 15 is still technically considered a child (although it's certainly true that many 15 year old guys are physically and emotionally mature for their age). I know when it comes to love, or even just infatuations, a year sounds like a lifetime and no one wants to have to wait, but I think it's worth sticking it out on your own (or dating others that may come along and take your fancy) for the next year or thereabouts and then review your feelings. If you still feel the same, go for it.

Good luck in resolving the situation. It's horrible to feel strongly for someone and also feel that there's nothing you can do about it.

yes, legally he is too young. You say you don't notice he is younger but he will show signs it is a fact that boys develop slower than girls in their teenage years, if you were both 10 years older the difference wouldn't even notice.

Yes he is too young. He may look and act older now but you will definitely see a maturity difference later on. Plus It is illegal to be with a young guy when you are an adult. Move on.

He's a bit young now, but in five years time the age gap won't matter at all. If you really like each other take things slow and enjoy your youth then when you're ready to get serious the age thing won't matter. Please don't sleep with him til he's 16 you can get into real trouble you know. Good luck!

Most guys are too young for you even when you are the same age. I don't think either one of you would take the relationship seriously.

Defo, he's under the age of consent and far too young. Wait a few years then start dating toyboys!

i believe this question can only be answered by him, his parents and you...but ive dated younger girls before with no problem its all about the people involved it just depends how everyone feels on it. since he is underage (if that matters too you) it is probably best to talk with his parents about this.

If you're wanting more than friendship he is too young. He's not legal.
