He did crack before and after P.E, then Def Jam refused to release cd's he did (solo) in the late 90's....so.........how is he livin that large with no 'real' income or am I missing something?

What they don't show on the Flavor Of Love is at the end when Flav packs up his one suitcase and returns home to his one bedroom apartment in the middle of the ghetto. There is no way he can afford the lifesyle he portrays on the show!!!

I am SURE coming from P.E. has left him with a nice little cushion called ROYALTY CHECKS. If a radio station plays say "911 is a Joke", Flav' gets paid. If someone picks up a Public Enemy cd, Flav' gets paid. If a song he wrote or collaborated on is used in a movie or on tv or any other form of advertisement, the dude gets paid.

Flavor of Love is bringing in the real bucks I bet. This is what the second season? Hes must be doing somethig right, so he was a crackhead,, what a wonderful change of pace.

ITS CALLED ROYALTY...And plus all the money they made touring and releasing Multi Platinum Albums. Because he was on crack doesnt mean he became broke. He featured on people albums, Did tours overseas, guest starred on Tv shows...Now his show is a hit...

I believe he collects royalties from his book of poetry he wrote a few years back; he also gets royalties from the movie "The Notebook"--he wrote the screenplay, you know.
