if you attended school outside the uk from primary to high school and are a british citizen can you still attend university in the uk through the normal procedures? ( me and my family moved abroad but my children want to attened university in the uk when they leave high school )

I'm going to say no. You really do need to research this, as the state is quite strict on who it funds for university education. I live in Scotland and I know the requirement is that the student has to be resident in Scotland for 3 years prior to applying to a university in order to get funding, but if they do the course is paid for by the state.

HI,
Yes DO your kids have British Passports? If so, then yes they can, especially if they were born there. It all depends on the parent. If you were born in the UK then they are all entitled to British passports.
My father has one because his father was born in Yorkshire. Good Luck
