There are many reasonable and intelligent individuals in America. As a collective we are compassionate, and diligent. Unfortunately, if you were a foreign individual watching our news, or reading Yahoo Answers, you would believe we are mostly rabid and rude individuals. It is easy to judge the character and intelligence level of people you don't know, but in most instances you would be incorrect. People generally do not act in real life as they do when posting answers. It is my personal believe that the most rabid hate spewers on here are probably extremely meek if you were to meet them in person. Lastly, I usually find that the people who make the most negative comments about other people's intelligence are among the most uninformed and unintelligent among us. Since they are incapable of forming reasonable arguments they instead relate to lowest common denominator in an effort to prove themseleves superior.

No. I believe that some of us are and some of us are not, and it has no bearing on being American.
Besides, don't you think reasonable intelligencew is pretty relative? I mean, to Cleatus Jr. who lives in the trailer next door, I am dern near genious because I know how to turn on a computer!

extremely intelligent... great power, money, military, leadership, governmental structure, individuality, ect. I would be willing to rank our accomplishments in the past 50 years with any other country in the world... how many of those have been to the moon?
