AEIOU, sometimes Y and W
There are some words, which I believe may be of Welsh origin, in which double U==UU (Does that give you a hint?) is used as a vowel.
cwm, pronounced coom
gweduck, pronounced gooeyduck
and others which escape me at the moment.
