Ok I'm having a little bit of a problem. It has been bothering me on some of the answers that I have gotten on my questions. People calling themselves ex christians.

OK EITHER THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES INSIDE OF U OR HE DOESN'T. IF U WERE A TRUE CHRISTIAN THEN JESUS LIVED ON THE INSIDE OF U THEN AND HE IS STILL IN THERE NOW. IF YOU REALLY WERE A CHRISTIAN AS U STATE. U KNOW HE IS THERE. AND IT WILL ONLY BE A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE HE DRAWS U BACK TO HIM.

IF A PARENT HAS A CHILD AND IT GOES MISSING THE PARENT WILL GO LOOKING FOR IT AND WILL LOOK RELENTLESSLY. PARENTS PUT UP WANTED POSTERS AND GET OTHERS INVOLVED.

TO ALL "EX-CHRISTIANS" THIS IS YOUR WANTED POSTER. AND I ASSURE U HE WILL PUT UP MANY MORE.

IF YOU TRULY HAVE KNOWN JESUS. YOU ARE MY BROTHER OR SISTER. TO MY SIBLINGS "FATHER IS LOOKING FOR U WHY DID U RUN AWAY?"

you say "OK EITHER THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES INSIDE OF U OR HE DOESN'T."

HE DOESN'T. There is no such thing

I was once a christian, now I realise, christianity itself is RUBBISH.

Knowing Jesus and understanding his life and teachings doesn't make you "christian" so-to-speak. I am non christian and i find his teaching wonderful. However, i will not go to church and listen to the interpretations of his teachings... why? Because every "christian" church teaches it differently. If christianity was a true "love they neighbor" religion, why are there so many denominations teaching from the same bible and hating the other churches?? I do not understand that. So they "know jesus"? if so, why aren't all the churches that teach from the elegantly redesigned original bible (KJV) one denomination?

But, as for all religions, i think they are fine and dandy, just not my cup of tea. Faith and Spirituality knows no religion. I studied christianity, and the christianity people practice in america (well, at least 99% of them) is not the true word. I say 99% because i am hoping at least 1% are true christians, and have read the deleted books from the bible, and know hebrew and /or greek.

As for our god, you believe he is a mighty god, right? So, seriously doubt he shuns people for going to the first baptist church on sycamore street, instead of the first baptist church on main street. And i do not think god would get mad at people for praying at home, instead of to a preist?

Religion, not faith, has waged wars, caused the death of millions, corrupted politics and so on and so on.

best to just practice the true word and quit acting like just because you go to church you are going to heaven. It really isn't that way. It does amaze me when the church goers think they are going to heaven just because they do for their church and go every sunday and sit and be still and listen... then go home and yell at their wives and kids, and cheat and cuss ... that is no good.
I have a serious feeling god watches people even when they are not in a pew.

I ran away (good word choice, by the way) because the more I studied religion, the more I found that Christianity was contradictory in the things it asked one to believe, or borrowed from other, older religions. I was no longer able to believe that any of it was divinely inspired.

I was never a Christian in the first place, so I don't suppose that that makes me an "Ex-Christian." People should practice whatever religion - or none at all - that they want. It's their belief, not yours, that matters.
