It is true, one end of the uterus (or cervex) will spasm and "dip" down into the sperm pool when a woman orgasms, and this action may increase your odds of getting pregnant.
It is not true that this is the "real" use of the uterus, since it's main purpose is to accept a fertilized ovum which becomes implanted into the endometrium, and derives nourishment from blood vessels which develop exclusively for this purpose.

The orgasmic contractions will help to move the sperm already inside the uterine cavity further INTO the cavity and toward the Fallopian tubes - it does nothing to help get it in there in the first place.
Think of it this way: How many women REALLY have an orgasm every single time they have sex (without some sort of stimulation - penile stimulation is not always effective). If it REQUIRED a female orgasm to create a pregnancy, the world would be in a heap o' crap with regard to our population!
Rape victims don't have orgasms, neither do most teenagers, 1st-timers, etc - but you hear about a LOT of pregnancies happening this way!
To better enable conception, what you should do is after your partner has ejaculated, remain on your back for 20-30 minutes with a pillow raising your hips. This will allow your cervix to be in contact with the seminal fluid for a longer period of time and hey - gravity works! Those little swimmers will have a better opportunity of getting where they're going if they're headed downhill!
Good luck.

What happens is when the woman orgasms her uterus contracts. It DOESN'T suck anything up. But yes, it is easier to get pregnant if the woman orgasms.
Yes, I have heard of that Old Wives Tale before also.
Have a great day!

Don't be ignorant. I am here to tell you being a woman that didn't have an orgasm until she was 30 the information is FALSE.
I had my first child at 23. It may act as a vacuum but there is no relation to orgasms and conception. IF that were the case NONE of us would have children.

You are half right. A women doesn't need to orgasm to become pregnant. She needs to orgasm to help increase the odds of her becoming pregnant. When a woman orgasm it does suck up all the sperm closer to her uterus which makes them closer to the egg so they have to travel less.

come across a various dr speedy! Why could he prefer to terminate at 5 months? Why not supply the toddler a raffle and take it at 6 a million/2 7 months? toddlers are possible if born after 23 weeks, so the toddler can have a stable risk of coming up it in touch in the help of seven mos.

totally untrue. if that were the case, lots of women would never get pregnant because lots of guys don't know how to make a woman have an orgasm. the entire human race would die out if that had to happen for conception to take place!

Dude.. I think you need help. The uterus is what hold the growing fetus. And a female doe NOT have to have an orgasm to get pregnant, that is just retarded. Her orgasm has nothing to do with his.. she has the eggs, his sperm carries life to them and fertilizes them.

you gotta be kidding me? Yes, women can get pregnant without orgasm. Although, having an orgasm does help the semen move along, which may help, but no gurantees.
