my laptop will not renew it's ip adress after connecting to the wireless network at my school.?

I can connect to any other wireless network and it will work just fine, but not at my school.

I have the password and I will be logged onto the network but it will not assign me an ip address.

Are u set static or dynamic IP in adaptor settings?
Try configuring the settings in there?

Your school has a lock out on it so no one can get in. Unless you no the code
