Spiderman hands down. The human torch is very cool but he relies on the rest of the Fantastic 4 but Spidey was able to take the Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Venom, Carnage, Toxin, Kraven, the Punisher, and everybody else who ever was a baddie.

Torch is a better Fighter then Spider-man PLUS he would torch him. Spider-Man can't fight, that's Captain American had to teach how to better use his Spidey Skills with Martial Arts...
You should look for the Comic where Human Torch beat the hell out of IceMan/Bobby Drake.

I dare say spider-man, if only because he beat Firelord unconscious back in the day, who is a much more powerful former Herald of Galactus. Similar powers to the Torch, but with super strength (50 ton range) and the Power Galactic. He's a bigger, badder version of the Human Torch.
Spidey pimp-slapped the he#@ out of Firelord b/c he was the only superhero on the scene. By the time the Avengers and everyone else showed up, Spidey was worn-out and winded, and Firelord was laying on the ground with the little birdies flying around his head...so to speak.

Spiderman he's smarter. Plus in the FANTASIC 4 cartoon Torch and his girl got trapped because he was showing off and he decides to wake for the othor a to save him, spiderman beats all his villans no matter how strong i mean COME ON the man can lift 10 TONS from what I heard

I'd say the Human Torch---if he is willing to GO NOVA---as its been shown that his nova flame would burn over a third of the country!
If the torch is holding back-then give it to Spidey-since he is awfully fast!

SPIDER-MAN would win because:
SPIDER-MAN/PETER PARKER wears a lovely red and blue costume with a black spider on his sexy chest, shoots webs out of his wrists, and fights criminals such as The Green Goblin and Dr. Octopus all by himself.
THE HUMAN TORCH/JOHNNY STORM says "Flame On" when he wants to ignite himself, wears a costume with the number 4 on it, is one-fourth of The Fantastic Four, and fights criminals such as Dr. Doom.

Human Torch of course. Spidey is just a kid. Not enough discipline. Hell he had trouble with "skyboy"
