This is what I obviously meant when I asked, "Why did he do it?", but my question was removed because someone regarded it as private correspondence, as if I were asking something about some personal associate.

He is already an admitted and charged child abuser. He had so much knowledge of the case because he was sickly facinated by it. He "capitilized" on all this , and knew he would gain "fame" and money(interviews, book deal etc.). He is sick as hell , but smart enough to know he would not be charged. In his twisted mind he got the "best" of both worlds. This is my psychological take on it, which I believe is strongly accurate.

He was probably about to face charges in Thailand, and - rather than sit in a Thai jail - chose to take a free luxury flight back to the U.S. where he know the charges in the Ramsey case would be dismissed. If he is sentenced for porno charges in California, he'll serve time in a more comfortable U.S. jail, write a book that becomes a blockbuster movie, be freed, and retire in luxury with his own little blond-haired sex slaves somewhere in the Caribbean. Face it: he outsmarted the morons at Homeland Security, law enforcement officials, and all of us who really wanted this tragic case to be solved. -RKO-

I think he has been so obsessed with the case, as someone said on the news one day, she was so pretty , that she was every pedophiles dream, and also what someone else said he probably needed to get out of the far east, and this sure got him back, just makes you wander how he financed everything over there, if he didn't have a lot of money.

The networks played his "confession" on the air, and from what I heard, he never said he did it--as in he never said, "I did it,' in so many words. Instead, he seemed to be speaking as if he were watching the act through the killer's eyes, as if he had some kind of psychic connection to the event; in fact, at one point, he said something like he had watched it as if he were actually in the room, to paraphrase it.
So no confession; he is just a sick, delusional idiot.

Because he wanted to get out of the Thailand prison system. They treat prisoners horribly there. Notice that he got shrimp and champagne on the flight to the USA? Better than what I ate on my trip to Europe. I'd be more than willing to use my tax dollars to ship him back to Thailand.

i think he wanted to get out of the far east. he may also have just wanted to be involved in the story. honestly, i don't know why he did it. i asked my husband the same question. there is something wrong with the man, that is for sure. maybe he just loves the media attention.

In his sick, distorted mind, he was intimately involved with her. He wanted to be a part of her and I think he truly believed that he did do it in order to be close to her. I knew he was liyng the oment I saw the "confession" on TV. I looked in his eyes and saw the look on his face......I knew he did not do it.
