Although somewhat contemporaries, [Daniel Boone (October 22, 1734–September 26, 1820) and David Crockett (August 17, 1786 – March 6, 1836)], these two fine gentlemen never had the pleasure of meeting. The closest they ever came was the fact that both were played by the actor Fess Parker, as Daniel Boone in the television series which ran from 1964 to 1970 and as Davy Crockett in 1954 and 1955.
