B/c ppl are generally more shallow than we give them credit for being. Some actually think (or believe) voters will know, or at least be familiar with, the issues and the candidates stand on an issue. Oh no, nay rue na! Ppl like to fool us! Besides, who you gonna vote for? A guy who got him a bitchen' haircut or the old fart? lol !!

Trim Spa, Fat Blocker, Hollywood Diet, Zone Diet, Atkins Diet.
If you see it on TV it must be true.
If you can benefit from a thirty second blip, rather than have to devote the actual time an effort, that's what a good portion of us will choose to do.
Look, I'm just happy that there aren't more people listening to the gospel according to Limbaugh, understanding his entertainment as truth laden fact, and acting accordingly!
Campaign reform is the only way out of this hole!

I think because people are too lazy to research the candidates for themselves. They don't know anything about the them other than what they see on tv or hear on the radio or read in political ads. So if you run for office you have to advertise.

Arnie spent $26M getting elected to governor.
Bill Frisk spent $14M to become a Senator.
You can do this too Just take a few hundred million out of your bank account and you will be president in 2008.
