I have not heard of his allignment to parlement or to any other would be allies and most sons learn from the mistakes of thier fathers and I wouldn't assume that if king charles would be king he would see his ansestory as a learning experience and therefore manuver before he ever had power so that when he recieved his power he could exercise his right to do away with parlement and one example could be used to gain public support to due away with said parlement is that the parlement is no longer opperating in the best intrests of its citizens because of blairs puppy like existance in a foreign country (he follows bush around like a puppy dog during g-8 meeting )and his blind support for bush is a little more than repect if looks like fear and in a monarchy can a king afford to be afraid of the ways of an outside country and can charles use this position of blairs as a tool to spin support for the dimembership of parlemment

The British monarch has been a figurehead for a long time, with virtually ZERO power. Their function is purely ceremonial.

Besides, Lizzie ain't going nowhere. Her mother lived to be 101! Tony Blair will be gone within 2 years, and Charles will still be waiting.

No to eliminating Parliment. And Blair will be probably gone long before he becomes king.

The British Monarchy is NOT a dictatorship. Praliment has the power. The monarchy is for PR.

They royals in England are only figureheads as they have no power whatsoever. Actually it could be the other way around that the Parliament would dissolve the monarchy (Maybe, since I don't know the British Constitution)

Kings/queens have no power in Britain. Tony Blair is on his way out anyway. Nobody has the power to do away with parliament.

Charles 1st. tried to get rid of Parliament and got beheaded. I don't think Prince Charles would be stupid enough to try again!
