Regardless of whether George Noory or original host Art Bell is on, I personally think it's fun to hear stories of "crop circles" or Nevada's infamous "Area 51"...or ghost stories from Hungary!

A guy I work with is ALWAYS talking about "Coast". He has met Noory.... only thing is- the guy I work with has actually become just like Fox Mulder! He believes every conspiracy theory there is. You can't even pick an innocuous subject like the weather without the specter of the government popping into the conversation. He thinks the weather is controlled by project HARP in Alaska. It's really quite sad. :(

I actually started listening about two years ago - to George Noory. Not on purpose - just when I'd wake up. I'd hit the sleep button and it would play until I drifted back to sleep.

George and Art are pretty darned good - I actually like that 1 AM (east coast time) news summary George does. And his "political" shows are interesting too.

Agree or disagree, it is a very different type of show! A perspective you won't get anywhere else, even if it's very odd at times.

It's entertaining for sure. I remember when the Hale-Bopp comet was coming for its closest approach to Earth ever, and the mother-ship crowd went wild. They even had the Heavens Gate cult believing the same thing.

It's like The National Inquirer, live on the air.

I can't listen to it every night anymore because of the change in lifestyle. I have to wake up when my wife does now and get ready for her work day and get ready for my classes.

When I lived a single life and had a different job, I used to listen to it every day. I loved that program.

Although I don't listen to it every night, I do listen to it whenever I am driving late at night. It keeps me entertained and keeps me awake!
