First of all... She's being very disrespectful to you and the marriage. She married you the way you are and clearly if she wanted that type of man she should have looked for and married that type of man. Her words show a lack of care and concern for your feelings and also that she needs to grow up and become a loving spiritfilled wife.
For sure... she wouldn't appreciate it if you decided you would "tear apart" another woman who had a much better figure than she has or something else.
Let her know how those comments make you feel and let her know that it's unacceptable and places doubts in your mind. She may react by saying she's only joking, but obviously it's not a joke to you and she needs to be aware that it's hurtful to you.

Ok I understand the whole going to the gym and working out if that is what you want to do then go for it to feel better about yourself. But do you still look the same you did as when you were married or were you all muscles and let yourself go? Every one rips apart the men for saying things to their wives about their appearence on here so I would say to sit and talk to her and tell her you are feeling threatened by her remarks and she isn't doing a very good job at helping your self esteem and being a "christain woman" she really should know it's about what's inside and not what's on the outside cause that all fades as we get older!
Shame on her what would her fellow church goers say???!!!
Good luck lol

Many women are attracted to well built men. I don't think that you should worry. Maybe ask her what she really wants. When she is making those comments you should ask if she wants a built guy and that if you are enough. Yes the truth may hurt but what can you do. You need assurance from your wife. Talking helps if not seek family therapist. Or go seek advice from your church.

OR MAYBE she has been telling you all along to get in shape and you didn't hear her? Maybe she WANTS you to get in shape? Hey, will it really hurt you to get in shape, really? First, you'll feel better and be healthier, particularly if you're overweight. And if she decided to leave, it would be easier for you to find another! What a dunce you are! Instead of taking a hint you think it's so awful to get into shape FOR the woman that shares your life?
Maybe you look dumpy and people have made comments that she overheard and is too embarrassed for you and she doesn't want to tell you in a way that will make you feel bad? Maybe you ARE dumpy and no has said anything but she still would like you to get into shape so she can be proud of YOU?
Too often women hint and suggest things and we are too stupid and thick-headed to hear! It's OK when we say things in a cruel way or make our demands in the form "suggestions" but when they do the same they're the bad ones?
Hey, get in shape and you'll see that you'll be able to sustain a longer and stiffer erections and you'll find more stamina and more frequent sexual urges! Get your flabby butt in shape and find out what sex is all about, and it is not "bad" or "sinful" to enjoy a sexual relationship with your own wife, it is your DUTY!
Hey, more muscles, more testosterone! Get in shape, bud!

It's not about your muscles at all. Women like strong men in every area of life. So try to deal with your personal insecurites and get some back bone, and she will respect that you have a mind and a will. Don't be her punching bag (figuratively speaking). Pull yourself up, don't be a wuss and learn how to lead instead of follow. Look up David Deangelo for tips.

Normally I would agree with the people that said maybe you could hit the gym, but I would never think of telling my gf or wife that I would tear apart a hot woman with an awesome body. Doesn't that seem insensitive to you?

It's not cool of her to be jokingly saying things like that. It tends to hurt one's feelings. If she has some issues she isn't happy with, she would be better off to communicate about it openly-a discussion. As far as looks, it is the inside of a person that matters most. What fun would it be to have a muscle guy, if he treated her like ****. Maybe she should consider that.

If she has thoughts about other men then yes someday she might act on them. Try joining the gym and getting beefed up and giving these guys serious competition. Also tell her how you feel. She's your wife, she's not suppose to be going on and on about other men to your face. Good luck!

Maybe she is trying to hint out to you that she'd like you to start working out.
If she is deeply religious, I am pretty sure she wouldn't cheat... However, I do think you should sit down with her for a one on one chat with how you feel about the situtation. This way, you can get her real imput on everything.
