My fiances birthday is this weekend he will be 31 years old I want to buy him something nice for his birthday, What would be a great birthday gift, for example if any of you men out there were to want something from your girlfriends or wives (besides sex LOL) what would it be?

My wife always takes me out to a nice restaurant for dinner, which is nice. If he's a sports fan, which most guys are, buy him tickets to a NFL, NHL, NBA or Major League Baseball game and go with him. Tickets to a good concert and go with him.

It has to be something that is personal for him. If he's a big football fan, maybe get him tickets to go see his favorite team. Maybe a guitar if he's always wanted to learn how to play, some tools if he's really into do-it-yourself projects. The point is, it needs to fit him personally. What may be a great gift for someone else could be lousy for him. I think the key to a great gift is that it be something that the person really wants, but would never buy for themselves.

And don't leave out the sex, but you seem to be on top of that one.

Its a bit sad that you don't know what your 'soon to be husband' would want and/or appreciate for his birthday. Men catch alot of hell for not knowing what to get their girlfriends/wives. Of course, we all want to get the perfect gift but, I'm sure that whatever you get him (as long as you get him something....and give him sex!), he will like it. It could be something as simple as dinner and a movie. Is he the type that has everything or gets what he wants himself? Then, gift certs. are great because he can go get that perfect item himself and he will really appreciate it. So, don't stress too much. It will work out.

A subscription to a men's or sports (or other topic of his fancy)magazine might be nice, or perhaps a large power tool.
