I had the same problem. I saved every penny that I could while I was pregnant. I would suggest redoing your budget and set a goal. Figure out how long you will be out on maternity leave and how much you will need for the time you will not be bringing in that income. Then figure out how much out of every paycheck that you will have to set aside. I was really lucky, my employer was able to give me a "bonus" before I left on maternity leave that truly made life easier for me. It was the nicest thing he could have done.
I know there is WIC that helps too but I'm not sure ecactly how they work. Maybe someone else will be able to give you more info on that.
Congrats on the baby!

I am having that same issue.. it is hard... I just had to learn to save.. You have 6 months to save up for 6 weeks worth of income... It has not been easy.. but I was able to do it..

I have the same issue. My husband and I put ourselves on a tight budget as soon as we could and are just putting aside as much as we can for while I'm out. It is not easy but we have no choice.

See if pregnancy counts as a disability and claim disability benefits.

How about you get your husband to support you? That way you can stay home w/ your child once he / she comes along.....
