Sure...if someone leads a higher card in spades than you, or if they lead a suit that you don't have any of and it forces you to play a different suit.

Not always!
If you have enough Spades, obviously somebody is going to have to play the Ace before you and then you can play the Queen under it. Or if you have been counting you may be able to work out that a player is going to have to take the trick after you with the King or Ace.
If you are not dealt many spades, try to pass cards to void another suit so that you have a chance of discarding the Queen of Spades
If you are dealt a short Spade holding including the King or Ace, try to void clubs if you are playing that 2 of Clubs is led to start play. Then if you are passed the Queen of Spades you can go one more round during the deal before you have to play it, and if you don't have the Queen of Spades passed to you you discard the Spade Honour on the first round (when you cannot throw penalty cards).
If dealt long Sades (four or more) including the Quenn, keep it so tht you can throw it on somebody else's hand. If you are deat short spades including the Queen, obviously you pass it on with any higher Spade Honour you are dealt.
Whilst you have the Queen of Spades in your hand during the play, make sure that you have a card to get off lead with whenever you take a trick. You don't want to find that you are stuck with the Queen of Spades at the end of the deal!
But it's a game, so everybody else will be trying to make you take the Queen!
Have fun!

If you don't have any other suit, use the queen, then you don't win that trick.
