I hear your pain. Depo was the first birth control I was ever on and I was off of it, and ttc, for 2 years before we concieved at all. Then I miscarried but now am carrying a healthy baby. So, yeah they never tell you it can take 2 years or so to get out of your system. My cycle was wacky too but if your doctor says you are healthy then nothing to do but wait. I know that is hard but good luck.

I was on the depo shot after I had my son. If you read the paper they give you when you get the shot it says that you might not be able to get pregnant for up to two years. When I stopped taking the shot I had iregular periods and it only took me like 6 months if that to get pregnant. I was realy surprized when I got pregnant because I thought it was going to take two years. You should read the paper that comes with youre shot. Im sure you can look it up on the enternet. I know planned parrenthood has a website. You should try looking it up. I am sure there is nothing wrong with you if there was the doctor would have told you.

I was on the Depo shot and it stopped me from ovulating...just becase you get your period every months does not mean that you are ovulating. Have your Dr send you for a blood test on teh 21st day of your cycle to make sure that you are ovulating. I had to take clomid to get ovulation started again.
