Yes,of course.Because people choose the avatars they like.(if this is true with the person)we can be sure that our avatars will affect on the others' minds and show our emotion,too.

Well, an Avatar is more like still life. Like say, a Robot. But thanks to the mood options, we can make them somewhat like ourselves without showing our true self. When I read what a person writes in his answers, I do have a tendency to look at their avatar and imagine the type of person I it must be.
