waisting time at net, u wont be able to stood first in class unless u r an extraordianary student.so judge yourself and apply your brain.

Have a study plan. First: Understand the subject/lesson thoroughly. Second: Give it a first time reading. Third: Give it a revision the very next day. During this time underline with a pen/pencil important points. Fourth: Revise on he third day too. This time you may just go through the underlined important points which should help you recollect the enter subject/lesson. Fifth: Revise the next week. Sixth: Revise once a fortnight. Seventh: Revise once a month. Eighth: Revise once every two month. Ninth: No need for further revision - you'll never forget what you've learnt.
Adopt Mind Mapping techniques which details effective study patterns that help you succeed academically. Mind Mapping is a reserached and modern study technique and something that cannot be detailed here. Check out the net for further guidance or maybe pick up some books on the subject from the bookstore.

First tell me one thing.... ARE YOU INTERESTED IN STUDIES SO MUCH? if you, u can easily get first rank in class. Getting First, is not a matter, but knowing Subject is important.While reading, don't think that u r doing hard work, just read with interest and concentration. * Read more in early morning i.e at 4.30, at this time our mind will be more active, with more memory power.
*give some short breaks while reading.
* Do meditation for some time, before reading. u can realise the change yourself.

if that is really what you want,then you can get it.Be determined and work very hard .pay attention in class and always ask questions when you dont understand a thing.Have faith in yourself and trust in God.
read and study hard always and dont ever joke with anything pataining your academics.no matter how difficult your class may be,you can get a 1st rank only if you believe and work hard enough.And no matter how hard you work,dont forget to talk to God in prayer,he never fails his children.
i do these things and they work for me so just try it and never loose focus.good luck

go to class, do your work correctly and on time, and only take classes that you need because your time will be precious and you don't want to waste it on things that you don't need. do your work as soon as you get it and you should be top of the class.
