on the news about that animal guy who just died?

He died and they are showing all that bad stuff about when he took his baby close to a alligator.

Unfortunately that's what they think people want to see. He is gone for crying out loud, why do they have to show what a lot of people construed as "bad".

He was a great animal person and humans and animals will miss him dearly.

Steve was right. He was a trained animal handler and his children needed to be educated about the animals. He was teaching Bindi and Bob about the beauty, as well as the dangers of these animals. As people we close off our own ability to discern the reasonable truth by listening to those who are ignorant of the facts (could that be, the media!). Steve said that those animals were in his back yard, basically. By sheltering his children from the threat he was doing them a disservice! He's right. Holding his baby was no more dangerous than a parent putting their child in the car with them to drive down the street. Anything can happen and I wish the media would just respect Steve. His death is a profound shame and I, along with many others, will miss him.

It's the Media!!!! And they like to take advantage and make everyone look bad!!! They are trying to make him seem as if he was careless, like when he had that Baby near the Alligator. It very tasteless!!!! They should let the man rest in peace.

I personally did not like this guy. I have seen him torment these animals and what he did with his baby ranks right up there with Michael Jackson. What if he would have tripped holding the baby????? He put his showmanship ahead of his baby! I thought he was a grandstanding a*s*s.

i know they're disrespecting him,
Channel 7 Australia hasn't really been doing it a lot,
But the Today Show has ( american ) probally sticking up for Matt Lauer when Steve Irwin defended himself.
They need to get over it, HE knew what he was doing

i know - the baby was not even in danger - steve knew what he was doing. it's always the same with the news. they should be showing all the other footage from his programmes.
