Yes I do. And those self-righteous believe-anything hypochondriacs that start hacking because they smell cigarette smoke are totally full of it. Apparently they have no problem sucking in the exhaust from thousands of passing cars, day in, day out. Let's not even go there - about how bad cars are for the environment and respiratory disease. Nobody wants to hear that. Not with every other commercial on TV being a car commercial. Hypocritical hypochondriacs. Hmmm, has a nice ring to it.

My point is, why should I have to breathe everybody's car exhaust?

Yes! But I think they should be. Smoking causes many different types of cancers and diseases. Research has shown that Second hand smoke is even worse. Therefore, I agree that they should be discriminate against because it causes harm to others not just themselves. I smoked for 20 years and have been smoke free for 4 years now so believe me, I've been on both sides of the issue. Because smoking is a negative, it wouldn't be fare to a business to be made to offer a smoking area. It should be optional for every business.

Being a smoker is a choice, plain and simple. It's not something beyond an individual's control. If people choose to smoke, it's their prerogative, but if institutions choose to make areas non-smoking, that's their prerogative.

Smokers are discriminated by uptight, judgmental, or self righteous people.

Oh, yeah. A woman once saw me holding a cigarette and started fanning the air and fake-coughing. The only reason that struck me as odd was that I hadn't lit the cigarette yet!

Absolutely. But what of it? Being an ex-smoker, have to say I'm glad I don't have to tolerate smoke-filled environments. Makes it very difficult to breathe and dangles that carrot of temptation every time someone lights up.

I think they do get discriminated for what they do cause smoking is bad for you and it will give you cancer. Be careful on what you do with cigerettes and take precaution if you smoke too much cigerettes.

Yes, for good reason. Would you want to sit next to a smelly homeless person and smell his stench? Of course not, by the same token I don't want to smell smoke
