When the doctor comes in and tells you, guess what in 9 months or so this slimmy thing will come out of you and you have to find a way to feed it and provide for it!

The only ways to know for sure is to test your hormone levels, or have an ultrasound scan.
Hormone levels can only be tested with urine or blood.
Symptoms alone can never be 100%, you can have a 'phantom' pregnancy, where your body plays tricks on you and you can 'feel' pregnant. Psychologically, you can convince yourself you are...therefore you feel pregnant.
There are ways of having a pregnancy test in confidence, if you think you might be please go for a test. Find out if there is a drop in clinic near you or buy a home test.

The best way to know is to know your body.KNow your cycle like clock work.HPT tests are really accurate.They check for the pregnancy hormone in your body in the time that it should be there..at least a few days to a week after a missed period.Technically, a period isn't considered missed until its 2 weeks late...anytime before that..its possibly late.But if you're usually regular..you'll know.They offer blood tests as well.Thgey are both pretty accurate.

There is another Test which is the surest of all. It is called Beeta HCG. Most labs do this. It is so sensitive that even first few days of pregnacy can be detected.
