A stick up is like "freeze this is a stick up." a hold up is like "hold up, I hurt my foot and I can't walk as fast as you"

I think they refer to erectile terms. The stick up is the under 30 one, and the hold up is the Bob Dole commercial.

stick up is what you put in the kitchen or in the closet so it dosent stink --a hold up is what you do so the roof wont fall down

they're both a robbery style... they both involve some sort of weapon and the threat of violence if certain demands are not met... haha.. I guess it's just different ways to say it.
