It is always better to go in for the best and not the worst. The cheapest Breast Implants have caused many problems for young womens due to silicon leakage and they had to do another surgery. It is always better to consult your GP as it is the legal way and to be on the safer side to choose the best instead of the cheapest!!!

Forget cheap and make sure you find a highly reputable surgeon. Do you want to end up with a serious infection, or a botch job needing expensive multiple revisions, just because you wanted to find the cheapest place to have surgery? This is serious stuff and you can't expect a highly skilled and reputable surgeon to charge next to nothing in the UK.

If money is tight and you want to pay less, I suggest you find a highly reputable surgeon abroad, in either Belgium or Holland, but make sure you do your research and have plenty of consulations. Never rush in until you have have weighed up the pros and cons. The only reason it is cheaper abroad, is because it costs less to run a business and inflation is lower. But having cheap surgery in the UK, is just asking for trouble. Please choose your surgeon based on skill, not on price. Good luck : )

Get Breast Imaplnt surgery in India.Cosmetic and dental Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.

I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your breast Implant surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

my cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the breast Implant, facelift, liposuction through the forerunners healthcare.she is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company.i personally have seen the wonderful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company.

I would be more concerned at where and who does the best job. I have seen some really BAD jobs. Ask to see the type of work the doctor does before accepting. Cheap or expensive. You don't want to end up looking like Frankensteins bride.

monkeywoman, I think you would be better of investing in body hair removal. I'm not sure large breasts will help if you look like a monkey. Hope everything goes well, I'm sure your GP can recommend a good surgeon.

Please don't chose a health care provider based on cost. Do your homework and choose a plastic surgeon (not a cosmetic one, there is a big difference) based on the quality of his/her work and patient care. If you have to bargain shop to afford such a procedure, then it's in your own best interest to wait until price is not so much of an issue.

on the NHS - just cry a lot at your GP's and convince them to make a referral for you - if you've had kids say they have made your boobs sag and you are depressed with it all!-my friend did this and she is having her NHS boobs done in November 2006!!
