A little more explanation to that last answer. All the emails are stored in one "folder" called the Archive. However, to separate them, you attach a "label" to them. This creates a list of "labels" down the left side of the page. If you want to recall a particular email, you click on the label and they all appear.

For me, Google Mail and Calendar knocks the Yahoo equivalent into a cocked hat. Sorry, Yahoo!

no, labels only.
but it's better - because to keep a mail on multiple references, you have to keep copies for each reference. but you can add as many labels as you with to a single mail, without losing a bit of already too big mailbox.

you can't make folders. you have to use labels instead. all email are stored in one folder unless sent to the archive. then you simply add a label and search them. here is how to use labels
