You got it. In days past, the bad guys were pirates or barbarians or bandits. Just a real, just as dangerous, and just as much a story intended to keep the children afraid and indoors.

So you think stories about terrorism are bed time stories. You can't be that young that you don't remember the Twin Towers. let alone all the embassy, railroad, and other bombings. To you they might seem like children's stories, but to the families who had members murdered, it's no story.
Everyone, except for those who are too stupid to know night from day, knows that the word WAR as used above is not war by definition. War on drugs, war on poverty, war on ignorance.
In everyday use, war on terror means an attempt to cut down or eliminate terror. Perhaps you haven't noticed but there have been no bombings in the United States in the last five years.
So if you want to go nighty, I'll tell you a Little Bo Peep story. It will be more suitable to your mental level.

Let's see what the "war on terror" has accomplished:
Invaded and occupied 2 countries, at the cost of about 4,000 American soldiers' lives and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. Total know terrorists captured or killed: about 20.
Mostly very low-level operatives, and most certainly NOT the "top" guy (Bin Laden) Bush stated he was going to get when this all started. Seem like a good bargain to you, 20 low-level terrorists for 4,000 American soldiers and so many civilians? Not to me. It's not a real war, it's a scare tactic. If it was a real war, it would be the most spectacularly unsuccessful war we've ever been involved in, worse than Viet Nam or Korea.

Depends on how much you like lentils and beans. How well you know the Arabic languages. And if you pray to Allah five times a day. If you like the above, it is probably a children's story. If don't don't care for the above then you better get behind this administration and defeat the terrorists.

Terrorists are real. A majority of them are reacting to the foreign policies of America and Israel. We create terrorists to justify wars that make big profits for corporations that give big money to politicians. If that's a children's story, let's pity the children.

Gee...Imagine that. It's a conspiracy against the whole world put on by President Bush. Boy he's good. Yeah, let's ignore all the murders committed by the terrorists. Let's ignore the video's of the murders. Let's ignore all the embassy's that have been bombed. Let's ignore the threats that we will continue to be attacked unless we convert. Let's ignore the Muslim community that denounces the terrorists. (Granted it's a small lot) Let's ignore all the facts and bury our heads in a hole and pretend it's not there. Good Job!!!

Yes it is, America has the greatest fire power militarily, but it takes a lot of money to run a war machine. America is bankrupt from Bush, from the get go, with his Corporate welfare to his buddies. This was a big mistake and we are all paying for the failures. There was no way America could afford both just coming out of the deficit Ronald Reagan and George senior put America through. Failure is at the top of the list.

I hope you have no children. If someone considers terrorism a bedtime story they shouldn't be allowed to have the responsibility of children.
Ask some 911 family members if it is a bedtime story
The boogieman... see MichealSavage.com the beheading video and see a bedtime story in action.
What a fool you are

Yes, and those airplanes that flew into those building were just a coincedence. Not really terrorists, simply 4 bad pilots having a bad day of flying all within a few hours of eachother. It should be renamed from the war on terror to the war against Islam. They declared it, we should fight it.

The war on terror is, among other things, mostly a religious war between Christians and Islamists, they both hate each other and they both want to dominate the other. I will have no part in this shameful religious war. I hope both religions destroy themselves so there can finally be peace. :)
