I reported a particular question a few days ago that was particularly racist - I mean really, really offensive - but nothing was ever done about it. Whats the point of allowing people to report abuse if no-one ever moderates the questions?

What I find most amazing about this is that just by asking the question I am getting bitten at by both sides - one person with two much caffeine in their system telling me that the staff are overworked as it is (do I care? its a multimillion pound company!! HIRE MORE!) and another telling me that I'm a liberal (although I believe he meant conservative). Talk about a hot topic. My point is - multimillion pound organisation with a brand that is well known across the world needs to be responsible QUICKLY about removing these things. 7-10 days is pathetic. Sorry.

Ever? EVER?

You reported one question that didn't get deleted and you conclude nothing ever happens?

Um, jump to conclusions much?

Sorry, I'll try to get a grip.

I have reported a lot of stuff, and sometimes I watch-list them to see if they get removed. Most of the time they ARE.

These are some over-worked people who have to make a lot of judgments very quickly.

If the offensive part wasn't in the top level of the question, try reporting it again, pasting in the offensive part. That way, the staffer who gets the email is sure to see the offensive bit.

It is a shame that not all offensive or bogus stuff is removed, or removed promptly, but the system often does work as expected. You've just found a case where it didn't.

Don't give up; keep reporting stuff that should be removed, and make sure it's really obvious why it needs to be removed in the forms you submit.

Yes to some degree, depends on the severity of the violation, see my last question and it only took them just a few minutes to delete this person entirely...........

I agree, they should assign moderators. But I assume after so many reports, they will block those from posting again.
