Sending a virus requires the person to open the infected email. If he doesn't open it, nothing will happen. Besides, so far I don't think there's a virus that only deletes emails.
Ask him to change it back, so you can get a new password in.
If he refuse, threaten to get him grounded.

install a keylogger in the pc and once your brother logs into your account u ll know what is the new password that he has set.keyloggers will record everey keystroke made in your pc.so the bunch of letters following your mail id id your password(in the file created by the keylogger).i know this sounds weird but is the best possible solution.

Why don't you recover your password. You setup a security question to recover it if you forget it.
A virus might make things worse, not better. So stick with getting your password back.

A VIRUS IS NEVER THE ANSWER!!! You could destroy your whole computer. That is craziness. You need to talk to your parents.

You just started this...sheesh.
Tell your mommy or daddy...maybe they will beat it out of him.
Or are you afraid that your Mom and Dad might see your email too? You hiding a bunch of stuff or what?
I knew this was fishy.
