I love mine. I have a Kenmore Washer and Dryer from Sears. I would love to have a Maytag but too expensive for my pocket. Whirlpool makes a good washer and dryer, a little cheaper brand and also associated with Kenmore.(I think). Since I have only owned a Kenmore and Maytag, that is the only thing I can suggest because that is alll I have had experience with. Home Depot carries a lot of good brands and watch for sales in the paper. I think I paid close to 300 or less for my washer. It has settings for 5 minute washes which I like because you don't waste so much water.

Maytag but they are pretty pricey. I would go with a whirlpool (GE). They seem to be pretty good and reliable. Do you have a store where they recondition old washers? I would try there first it's a good place to get something cheap and does the job.

My parents have always had Maytag washers, they are very dependable. If cost is a factor, you might want to
keep your eye out for a good used one, keep checking
the paper!
