yes but a change of address card sent at least 2 weeks ahead of moving should help.

if you fill out the right form, all your mail will get forwarded. but then the system aint flawless so some of them might still get sent to your old mailing address, and then forwarded to the new address. make sure you send out change of address cards to everyone who sends you mail. check out the usps website for the right forms to fill out.

If it does, the people who live there now should just put it back in the mailbox and the mailman will take care of it and send it on to you.
