No such luck! And remember, big oil companies have to pay for their huge profits and this can't happen if they're selling you cheap gas. Btw, the oil has always been there but exxon doesn't want to pay american workers what they're worth so they go to arab states for cheap labor. In the 80's they drilled heavily on the gulf of mexico and all around La. border but it was just too costly so they decided to rely on arab oil instead and save themselves lots of money! Greedy bastards!

Whoa there! Its not rather that easy. For one element, on a similar time as extra oil has been introduced interior the Gulf of Mexico in the present day, the oil cost decline comes from a variety of issues, extraordinarily through fact the fact is of a "potential" oil field, not that it is going online. The uncertainty pressures of the worldwide on the verge of the subsequent worldwide conflict (Israel/Hezbollah in Lebanon) have died down. The Iranian risk has additionally died down (comparable comparable-o) as politicians interior the UN communicate approximately speaking approximately doing some thing if their speaking approximately it does not something. No new worldwide disaster information is out, on the 2d. it rather is the main boring time for manufacturers attempting to fulfill the desires of shoppers. the cost of the dollar (many of the cost escalation became through fact the foreign places money with which we purchase that oil became rather worth much less, in assessment to different currencies). those are the accepted issues at the back of the present cost drop in oil.

did you even read the article?!?!?! It STATED that it would not be until 2010 before that oil will hit the market !!! Gasoline prices are impacted in the SHORT TERM. This discovery is still 4 years away from benefiting the US. In the mentime, what will be the growth in consumption of oil products by the United States between now and 2010? Maybe, this discovery will have less impact than you think.

What, are you kidding? They are going to have to get EPA permission first (that is expensive), then they will have to hire American union members to do the work (so, that means 50 people working at $40/hr, doing what 10 people can for $15/hr), and then, after markups for profits, you'll be paying about twice what youre paying now......PER GALLON!
Then, everyone will be wondering what happened to the illegal aliens that could have been doing the work!
