In most U.S. states you must have parental consent to get any part of your body other than your ears pierced if you're under 18. And most places require that your parent produce ID and give verbal consent at the time you go in to get pierced. Best way to be sure is to call the place that would do the piercing for you and ask since every state law is different.

I think that they passed a new law that you must be 18 or older to get body piercings (besides your ears) or tattoos. You used to be able to go and get whatever you want if you had your parent or guardians signature. I guess they will not allow it.

depends on the state laws, the parlors rules, and your parents outlook on it. I would say yes in most states and at 95% of the piercing parlors. call around and ask.

depends on where you go. you might be able to go to a good tattoo parlor and not have a parent with you. but some fancy jewelry store you would definitely need a parent.

If you go to Dirty Gary over on 16th and wear something low cut he'll do it for you. Everywhere else you need a parent.
