Raw eggs are only potentially dangerous if you eat them raw or undercooked. If your French Toast was thoroughly cooked and not runny in the middle than it is probably just fine. Even if it was slightly runny, your risk is very slight. Symptoms of Salmonella or food poisoning generally appear 12-72 hours after eating the affected food and consist of fever, diarrhea, and abdominal cramping. In the unlikely event of this happening, go to the hospital and it is treatable. Our bodies are amazing. A mom's body will do everything possible to protect the baby growing inside of it. If you are still concerned, give your doctor's office a call to get their professional opinion.

It is great to see that you are very concerned about your baby, however, as long as the egg on the french toase was cooked before you ate it, you should have no problems. If you feel fine, then the egg product was cooked enough and you should have no problems what so ever. However, you may want to cut back on the french toast from now on.
Have a great child.

If you cooked the french toast then most likely the eggs were cooked enough to kill any bacteria that could harm your baby. When i was preganant i ate french toast and everything turned out perfectly fine.

The eggs in french toast is no different then the ones you put in a frying pan or the ones in brownies etc. You cooked the french toast right? Then you are fine. Take a deep breath and don't worry about it!

I always cook my french toast after dipping it in the raw eggs. I hope you did this as well. If you did than there is no worries. Good Luck.

There are many people out there that will say one thing is bad to another. Alot of it goes by what someone told them. I search around and found nothing about french toast being bad (though ... just saying not to eat to much do to the nutrional reasons. I did find two sights that I think will help. One seems like ya might have fun with it. Its like a test to see what ya know about foods while preg. Unborn children are stronger then ya think. Look at me my mother fell down stairs broke her tail bone and not a single thing happend to me... yell I mean except for the fun rollercoast ride..LOL Remeber congrats on the baby and to HAVE FUN!!!
BTW ::: i did find one thing out somepeople dont let the french toast cook long enough. That though is very rare cause the bread remains wet not crispy.

I'm sure you're TOTALLY fine! Ask your doc when you see him/her next. I never heard that with either of my pregnancies. Although it makes sense I can promise you that I had french toast with both my pregnancies and never even though about it. You don't eat the eggs raw...you cook them on the bread. Don't worry I'm sure you're fine!! But ask the doc so you can feel sure about it.

Relax....your stress over it is doing more harm to your baby than a couple of raw eggs. And it's not like you really ate raw eggs they were cooked. Chill out your stressing out the baby over nothing
