Without a shadow of a doubt and it is dangerous and unacceptable. If it was not for the "alliance" between the two countries I do not believe Britain would be in Iraq. Of course Margaret Thatcher was always sucking up to Reagan. It seems to be one sided. America took a long time to help out in WW2 and only joined the conflict after Pearl Harbour. It then tried to claim that it won the war. Blair is trying to get agreement over the greenhouse effect but America is not interested. We give America total support like a faithful dog but what do we get back in return- nothing.

Yes - President Carter pointed out that Tony Blair had squandered his unique opportunity to temper President Bush's policies over the middle east. That's a fact I think. Iraq and 911 were unrelated - it meant we started another major confrontation before we had completed the job in Afghanistan. Both places are now looking increasingly unstable.

No, what are you on? In some instances Blair and Bush have been allies may be to our detriment but sometimes you have to dance with the devil.

I don't believe that what our prime minister has done over the past nine and a half years has been brilliant but we DID vote him in so we are stuck with him until he either resigns(some talk of next year) or we vote him out.

In a word, NO.
The Brit Gov may be close to Gov.US Inc., but the BritPeople are not. There is widespread antiAmerican feeling in UK. I have no argument with the American people save that they should wake up, grab their muskets and retake their revolution before it's too late. They are governed by tyrants, warmongers and empire builders. Americans are supposed to be against empires since 1776. So what happened? Oh yeah! - also, you cannot shoot your way to popularity.

It's possible. Blair and Bush seem to be in each other's pockets and whatever America does Britain is sure to follow.

What do some of you people really want? I would prefer this country is America's friend rather than enemy, for gods sake we are the same people we speak and act the same and history will show that half the American population have a ancestry involving the British

bush may, and blair might, but this is not always the will of the people..and unlike the yanks, we have a democracy..and if that fails we have big sticks and a bad attitude.

if it ever happens in England, we'll have a blodbath which makes the ethnic cleansing in bosnia seem like a dress rehearsal...
