I already have an ISP dial-up service for my desktop PC. I just do not understand where/how to physically plug in phone line. Yes, I am new to this.....Thanks

you buy a phone medem card! Thats not going to net you internet access tho, you will need a dialup ISP! If you already have an internet connection tho, this is not the thing to do!

Look in the manual, there should be two connectors, one for DSL and another for a regular phone line. The DSL or Ethernet one will be the bigger of the two. They simply plug in if you have a standard phone jack (male).

there should be a little plug thing on your computer, if it is a mac. but you need a modem card, you cant just plug it in.

Using USB pin drive sutable with your laptop can do it.
