Lets say he bought x flowers and at each temple he used y flowers

so, at first temple the flowers became 5x and he used y

so, he went to next temple with 5x - y flowers
They became 10 times and he used y flowers again

so he went to third temple with [10(5x - y) - y] flowers

they became 20 times and he used them all. So this is equal to y

so,

20 [10(5x - y) - y] = y

solve and u get
1000x = 221y

Now u have infinite solutions to this...
x = 221n
y = 1000n

Minimum numbers are
he bought 221 flowers and used 1000 flowers each time

other possibilties are 442 flowers bought and used 2000 flowers and so on...

A minimum amout shows;- 221.
ie. a person brings 221 floweres and uses it for pooja with 1000 flower in each shrine.

(221*5) = 1105-1000=(105*10)=1050-1000=(50*20)=1000

any point on the graph of 1000x-221y=0 will be a correct ans(if the values are non-zero +ve integers)- where x represents the number of flowers taken and y represents the number of flower used in each temple.
