no matter how secure an e-mail provider claims to be, it is only as secure as the PC you are accessing it from;
at your work, your system administrator is (most likely) completely in control of your PC and could therefor (simply) have key logger recording your ID & Passwords (as well as ANY text you may type in a web page, no matter how encrypted it is)

It relies upon on who you attempt to maintain the counsel from. If its the regular public a fax is extra safeguard through fact it basically gets trasmitted with the aid of telephone businesses designed to maintain your information from the regular public. Your e mail is going is transmitted trhough a community which would be monitored with ease with the help of the regular public and you in no way understand the which direction your transmission might take. maximum folk can inform you of encryption utility for the internet yet not many can inform you of encryption utility for faxes. the main considerable reason is which you fairly want the internet encryption utility extra advantageous than you may want fax encryption.

Yes, your sysadmins could have monitoring software installed on your workstation or network that could montor web site sessions, essentially seeing that you typed in Yahoo mail. Do they have the time or interest in doing so? Probably not.
